About Andrew

Andrew Hapeman began his musical ventures at age 6 by starting the ever-so-popular piano lessons. Influenced by his grandfather, Andrew took to classical piano from a young age, but he wanted to learn rock and popular music. By age 9, Andrew was knee-deep in guitar lessons, exploring a variety of musical styles including oldies, country, rock, and pop. After witnessing his uncle play bass in a local band, all of Andrew's attention turned to supporting the bottom end. In addition to bass, Andrew purchased an old drum kit from a friend and began learning to play the drums.

After earning his music technology degree and spending his twenties touring with pop-punk band My Cardboard Spaceship Adventure, Andrew built a recording studio/lesson space in his home, and now spends most of his time recording bass and drum parts for artists and songwriters. He is committed to creating parts that compliment and enhance songs. Also, Andrew enjoys performing in bands and for musical theater productions.

Andrew is available for recording, performances, and lessons in the Pittsburgh area. He lives with his wife, Marissa (also a composer! www.mhapemanmusic.com)
